Iman Attarzadeh is a PhD. candidate and part-time lecturer at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA.  He received his bachelor in Computer Science (Computer Architecture) with Certificate of Appreciation of Excellent Graduate Student in 2002 from the Azad University of Dezfoul, Iran in 2002, and his M.S. in Computer Architecture from Research and Technology University, Tehran, Iran, in 2005. His master thesis topic was: ”Proposing and Evaluation of a New High Speed Image Processing Algorithm Based on Systolic Arrays”. Between 2002 and 2007, he was member of Faculty of Computer Science & Information Technology, Azad University of Dezfoul, Iran, and between 2005 and 2007 he appointed as the Head of Department of Computer Science at the university.
His current research interests include software engineering (Cost Estimation Models, Project Management, Formal Method, Algorithm Design), Fuzzy Logic and Neural Networks, Image processing (Enhancement and Recognition) and Computer Architecture. His contributions to the field include the Software Project Cost Estimator (MySPCE), a soft computing model for estimating software project parameters. His research has appeared in several famous journals and conferences.
